In the meantime

Before I leave…

I’ll pack strings of jasmine scent
and an image of the african lion strength
I’ll cover it with a layer of azure waves
Sprinkle it with kids games

I’ll buy some gold from your loving eyes
and wrap it with the silky kindness of your heart

I’ll pack it all in a tiny hole
Somewhere between left and right
Of everyday existence

Only then
I’ll be able to leave
